What We Believe

Whether you are a long time member or considering visiting with us, it may be helpful to get an understanding of our foundational beliefs here at Grace Baptist.

If you have any questions about these beliefs, feel free to discuss them with our pastor, James Guest, or any of our deacons.

We hold that God has revealed His redemptive program through successive dispensations
with a common theme throughout: “the just shall live by faith.”

We also hold that each one of these dispensations either anticipates the arrival of the Messiah or celebrates His arrival and accomplished work.

We hold that the Bible is the authoritative Word of God, graciously given to a fallen and desperately needy human race.

We hold our Lord Jesus Christ to be the great and exclusive Savior of sinful humans.

We also affirm that God, expressing His great love and compassion, always supplies sufficient information and means for each and every human to be rescued from a great wrath that is yet to come.

We affirm that the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ is the only message by which people can be made right with God and that those who have embraced this message and its promises are in turn obligated by love to be involved in networking the Gospel message to others either by evangelism or missions.

We also rejoice together that our great Savior will imminently appear from heaven to quickly take to Himself His bride, the Church, “and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”
