Missions
Missions is a very important part of what we do here at Grace
Baptist. We support 10 Missionary families in 7 different countries as well as 5
organizations out of our missions budget every year. Our GEMS ladies group meets
regularly to support and minister to our missionaries. We endeavor to put together
at least one trip every year, so that the people of our church have a chance to experience
missions first-hand. In recent years we have taken Mission trips to Mexico and to Haiti.
We are excited that two new missionaries have been sent out by our church.
Elizabeth Proctor is a missionary with ABWE. She is currently teaching at Santiago Christian Academy in Chile.
Jim and Jan Novy were recently accepted into the Apollos Program with Baptist Church Planters. They will go to churches in the US that are in need of an interim Pastor, or are just forming, or are needing someone to shepherd them through a difficult time, and stay until the church is ready to call a full time pastor. They accepted their first assignment this year and are serving now in Londonderry, NH.
"Pray ye therefore the Lord of the Harvest, that He will send forth laborers into His harvest"
